The award was presented to Dr. Kevin Gallagher, Dr. Mell Jackson, Dr. Noah Greene and Nurse Practitioner Jennifer Shelden at the center’s annual fundraising dinner on May 7.
“As a charitable clinic, there is only so much we can do for our patients, in-house,” said John Willome, executive director of The Good Samaritan Center. “We often see those needing complicated assessments, and that’s when we turn to our system of community partnerships for help.”
“In 2018, the providers and staff of Austin Heart – Fredericksburg were available to care for 61 of our patients’ numerous cardiac issues, including sleep study matters,” Willome said.
He added, “We wish to honor them for their dedication to the health of our community and for the care they show our neighbors-inneed.”
