Locals take on Appalachian Trail

Fredericksburg residents Lorrie Hess and Karen Kuhlmann are making their way along the Appalachian Trail. The trail system is approximately 2,200 miles long and can take around six months to complete. Hess and Kuhlmann started in Springer Mountain, Georgia and will end in Katahdin, Maine. Hess
