First day of early voting draws 239

More than 200 Gillespie County voters went to the polls on the first day of early voting to make their choice for seven local contested races and other state races in the upcoming March 6 primary election. According to County Clerk Mary Lynn Rusche, 201 Republican voters cast ballots early on Tuesday.
