‘The Bunker’

Those of us who worked there called it “the bunker” — the old concrete and cinder block field house beneath the home side bleachers at the FHS Stadium. It was the ultimate man cave and a shrine to Gillespie County manhood. Women were not allowed inside — not that they would want to go there.
