Struggling Longhorns seeking better record

Sporting a dismal 1-5 record so far in the 2016 season, the varsity volleyball team from Harper High School is struggling, to say the least.

Following an opening season 3-1 loss at Johnson City on Aug. 8, the Ladyhorns were able to win only one match out of the five it played in the Wimberley Tournament held Friday and Saturday.

But Harper will have several opportunities to shed those early season blues when they host Comfort on Thursday evening at 7 p.m., participate in Saturday’s Knippa Tournament and then return home on Tuesday to face Sabinal at 6:30 p.m.
