FHS JV boys look to end season undefeated

Fredericksburg High School junior varsity boys’ hoops are heading into Tuesday night’s season finale with a perfect season on the line. The Billies played Boerne on Tuesday, Feb. 12, in Boerne, but results were not available as of press time. Entering Tuesday, FHS had a 24-0 record, including 9-0 in District 28-4A play.

FHS JV 71, Bandera 38

Coach Randall Watson said Dillon Rabon and Jorge Marin played a “very scrappy” game to help the Billies beat the Bandera Bulldogs, 71-38, on Friday, Feb. 8, at FHS Gym. Rabon led FHS with 14 points and Marin scored 10.

FHS JV 80, Llano 32

Twelve players scored in FHS’ 80-32 win against Llano on Tuesday, Feb. 5, at Llano. Jayden Sanchez and Jakob Schandua each scored 13 points to lead FHS. “We had a good game against Llano with all players contributing,” Watson said.
