Machine Pitch Boys produce big end of season victories

The Fredericksburg Machine Pitch boy’s tournament took place in Mason June 10-11.

The boys took a big first game win, 24-1, against a young Burnet team. The team then faced Mason and the boys’ bats were still hot as they took a 14-8 win, advancing them to the winner’s bracket.

The team then played Blanco and came out strong as the team put up five runs in their first at-bat. The team took the victory in four innings, 16-6.

For the championship the team would again face Mason. The game was back and forth entering the final half inning with a score of 17-11, Fredericksburg with the lead. After many errors, Mason closed the gap, 17-16, and had runners on base, with two outs. They earned the final out, winning the Mason All-stars tournament.
