Ladyhorns primed for playoffs


Harper will learn its playoff fate after Tuesday night.

The Ladyhorns wrapped up the regular basketball season against Junction on Tuesday, Feb. 11, at home.

A win in Tuesday night’s game hands Harper a thirdplace finish in the District 27-2A standings.

A loss sets up a potential tie-breaker game with Junction.

Rachel Perkins led the Ladyhorns with 11 points, including three 3-pointers.

Talli Millican scored nine points and grabbed six rebounds.

The Ladyhorns are 22-8, 3-4 in district.

San Saba (7-1, 26-3) held a half-game lead in the 27-2A standings heading into Tuesday night.

Mason was 6-1 (27-3) heading into a game against Center Point.

San Saba ranked No. 6 in the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches’ Class 2A poll.

Mason slotted in at No. 5.
