Lady Eagles drop volleyball match to TMI Episcopal

After taking the first game by a 27-25 score, the Lady Eagles dropped the next three, 25-14, 25-17, 25-17, at TMI Episcopal School in San Antonio last Thursday evening.

“We did some good things,” said Heritage head coach Clarence Stewart. “We rallied back to win the first set.”

The Lady Eagles’ mentor went on to say that his troops “showed some fight last night; I’m really proud of the young ladies.”

While admitting his team needs to “fix a few things,” Stewart added that “I definitely believe we are communicating better.”

Heritage hosted San Antonio FEAST last night in the on-campus Multi-Purpose Activity Center, but the results were unknown as of this week’s publication deadline.

The team will next face First Baptist Academy on Tuesday in Universal City.

The match starts at 6 p.m
