FHS boys' basketball wins three games in Roundball Reunion
The Battlin’ Billies took three of their four games in the Fredericksburg Roundball Reunion.
Fredericksburg High School varsity boys’ basketball beat Austin Savio, 54-49; Burnet, 66-43, and Graham, 59-56, during the two-day tournament on Dec. 27-28 at FHS Gym.
The Billies’ lone loss came against Granbury, 67-53.
Senior forward Sean Majors made the all-tournament team.
FHS plays Devine on Monday, Jan. 8, on the road. Game time is 7 p.m. Junior varsity and freshmen both play at 5:30 p.m.
The Billies start district play against Bandera on Friday, Jan. 12, at home. Tipoff is 6:30 p.m. JV and freshmen play at 5 p.m.

FHS jumped out to a 12-point lead in the first quarter and cruised to victory in the team’s tournament finale.
JT Watson hit two 3-pointers right off the bat and Majors scored 13 first-quarter points to help with the hot start.
“We stretched the lead after the third quarter and our reserves got some much needed experience,” coach Tim Kaman said.
