Fredericksburg High School’s varsity boys’ track team finished third and the junior varsity earned second place in the Kerrville Tivy Antler Relays on Thursday, March 8, at Antler Stadium.
“The boys competed very well and set many personal bests throughout the meet,” coach Gilbert Renaud said.
Sean Majors (long jump), Bryce Raders (pole vault) and the 4x200-meter relay team of Devin Cantu, Cristian Hernandez, Juan Loredo and Jonathan Wilson won gold in the varsity division.
Other medalists were Cantu (silver, 100-meter dash, long jump and triple jump), Loredo (bronze, 200-meter dash), Raders (silver, high jump) and Majors (silver, high jump).
Junior varsity’s gold medalists were JT Watson (high jump) Ben Ferris (pole vault and long jump) and Kolby Wright (shot put).
Next on FHS’ schedule is a spot in the Marble Falls Relays on Saturday, March 24, at Marble Falls High School.
