Texas Flower Country 5K/10K Run Saturday

The Texas Flower Country Women’s 5K/10K Run returns to the Hill Country this Saturday, May 11, at Wildseed Farms.

Race time is set for 8:30 a.m., with the start and finish set for Wildseed Farms.

Race participants will see parts of the farm not open to the public.

The 5K course features two aid stations, with four stops for 10K participants.

The race benefits Wounded Warriors of Nebo, a non-profit serving military veterans.

All runners receive a technical shirt and post-race champagne brunch, craft beer, free massages and the opportunity to see live music post-race.

First place overall and master’s winners for both races will receive a plaque.

Age groups are 29 and under, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 and older.

Race packet pick up is from 7-8:30 a.m. that morning at the Wildseed Farms’ South Plaza. A $5 discount is available by mail-in entry only. A copy of ID is required.
