Mrs. Elmo L. Baethge, 93, nee Frances Lois Hahne of Fredericksburg, died Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at Fredericksburg Nursing and Rehab Center.
Graveside services and interment were held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 25, at Greenwood Cemetery with the Rev. David Montgomery officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of Schaetter Funeral Home where visitation was held Sunday evening, March 24.
Mrs. Baethge was born Dec. 22, 1925, in Fredericksburg, the daughter of Walter Carl Hahne and Hertha Lee Kott Hahne. She married Elmo L. Baethge on Sept. 9, 1944, in San Antonio. He preceded her in death on Jan. 14, 2000.
She is survived by two sons and spouses, Warren and Lorraine Baethge of Connecticut and Gordon and Jeanie Baethge of Argyle, and a son-in-law, Pat Usener of Austin.
Survivors also include nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; one sister, Waldene, Mrs. Calvin Beckmann of Fredericksburg, and one brother, Homer Hahne of San Antonio.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Baethge was preceded in death by two daughters, Kerry Schmidt and Rhonda, Mrs. Patrick Usener, and a sister, Doris, Mrs. Warren Petsch.
Memorials may be made to Hill Country Memorial Hospice.
Pallbearers included Traver Baethge, Kyle Schmidt, Chandler Baethge, Ryan Schmidt, Tonya O’Connel, Alexandra Marchetta, Lindsey Moore, Melissa Finkel and Katie Lee.
