Mrs. Clifford Duecker, 93, nee Rebertha (Windy) Basse of Fredericksburg, died Thursday, Aug. 27, 2020, and Knopp Nursing Home.
Graveside services and interment were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, at Der Stadt Friedhof with the Rev. Bobby Vitek officiating. Soloists were Deanne Moellering and Dan West.
Arrangements were under the direction of Schaetter Funeral Home.
Mrs. Duecker was born May 9, 1927, in Fredericksburg, the daughter of Robert Basse and Alma Hopf Basse. She married Clifford Duecker on Jan. 15, 1954, in Kerrville. He preceded her in death on Oct. 24, 1984.
Mrs. Duecker is survived by one daughter, one son and spouses, Diann and Ronnie Jung of Fredericksburg, and Darin Duecker and Linda Moore of Corpus Christi, and one daughter-in-law, Anita Johnson of Terlingua.
Survivors also include 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Viola (Olie), Mrs. Marvin Heimann, and Margaret, Mrs. Fritz Duecker, both of Fredericksburg, and a brother-in-law, Milton (Johnny) Duecker of Austin.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Duecker was preceded in death by her father, Robert Basse; her mother, Alma Hopf Basse Herbort; three sons, Sidney Johnson, Sam Johnson and one son who died in infancy, and one great-grandson, Jacob Schandua.
Pallbearers included Derek Jung, Justin Roberts, Pat Duecker, Kelton Duecker, Wallace Britton and Dan Heimann.
Memorials may be made to Holy Ghost Lutheran Church or the charity of choice.
