Mrs. Belton Klinksiek

Mrs. Belton Klinksiek, 88, nee Josephine Marilyn (Josie) Loth of Fredericksburg, died Thursday, June 28, 2018.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 7, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. John P. Nolan officiating. Mary Ann Murchison was the pianist, and Donna Jackson, the vocalist.

Entombment followed in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum.

Arrangements were under the direction of Schaetter Funeral Home where visitation and a rosary service were held Friday evening, July 6.

Mrs. Klinksiek was born Aug. 5, 1929, in Fredericksburg, the daughter of Edward Loth and Meta Borchers Loth. She married Belton Arnold Klinksiek on Jan. 16, 1954. He preceded her in death on Dec. 20, 2011.

Mrs. Klinksiek graduated from St. Mary’s High School and later received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Incarnate Word College in San Antonio.

She spent the majority of her life as a registered nurse, working at Santa Rosa Hospital in San Antonio, at Keidel Memorial Hospital in Fredericksburg and for allergy specialist, Dr. Dor Brown in Fredericksburg.

After retiring from nursing, she worked with the family business, Fredericksburg Machine and Appliance True Value, until the store closed.

Mrs. Klinksiek is survived by two daughters, one son and spouses, Connie Bost of Cypress, Texas, Sidney and Tammar Klinksiek of Kentucky, and Peggy and Reagan Schwarzlose of Colleyville.

Survivors also include 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by one sister, Irene, Mrs. James Wehmeyer of Washington; a sister-in-law, Patricia, Mrs. Daniel Loth of Kempner, and a brother-in-law and spouse, Harold and Merlyn Klinksiek of College Station.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Klinksiek was preceded in death by two brothers, Louis Loth and Daniel Loth, and one sister, Annabel Kuhlmann.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, New Century Hospice, the Alzheimer’s Association or to the charity of choice.

Pallbearers included Sidney Klinksiek, Reagan Schwarzlose, Scott Schwarzlose, Brett Schwarzlose, Barrett Schwarzlose and Aaron Bost.
