Queen, king crowning to highlight Homecoming at Fredericksburg High School Friday
A football game, crowning of royalty and other activities during the week will highlight the Fredericksburg High School 2018 Homecoming celebration.
On Friday night, the Battlin’ Billie football team will host the Bastrop-Cedar Creek Eagles in a 7:30 p.m. game in the FHS Stadium.
During halftime, the homecoming queen and king will be crowned.
Nominees for queen include:
•Litzy Aguilar, daughter of Jose and Sandy Aguilar.
•Larkin Penn, daughter of Jim and Carol Penn.
•Molly Pluenneke, daughter of Clint and Anne Pluenneke.
•Camille Rhyne, daughter of Richard and Benedicte Rhyne.
•Mia Torres, daughter of Luis and Sonya Torres.
Nominees for king are:
•Hayden Ahrens, son of James and Alisa Ahrens.
•Brant Bowers, son of Chip and Audri Bowers.
•Josh Handley, son of Kaci Quinn and Joel Handley.
•William Sebera, son of Bill and Ida Sebera.
•Ethan Williams, son of Jeff and Barbra Williams.
The nominees will be escorted by their parents.
Flowers for the court have been donated by Blumenhandler Florist.
Fredericksburg High School graduates Miranda Langehennig will crown the new king and queen along with Rachel Valdez McCabe.
There will not be a homecoming dance this year.
Other Homecoming activities include hall decorating and judging on Wednesday.
The Homecoming pep rally will take place on Friday morning at 8:35 a.m. in the FHS Gym.
