Robert W. (Bob) Streeter
Robert W. (Bob) Streeter, 76, of Grand Island, Nebraska, died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2018, at CHI St. Francis Medical Center.
Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 24, at Apfel Funeral Home, Grand Island, Nebraska, with the Rev. Cathryn Love officiating.
Inurnment is planned at a later date.
Streeter was born Nov. 18, 1941, in Norfolk, Nebraska, the son of Bill Streeter and Hazel Leu Streeter. He grew up in Norfolk and Battle Creek, Nebraska. On Sept. 27, 1963, he married Judy Ann Coughtry in Norfolk, Nebraska. She preceded him in death in 2015.
Over the years, the Streeters resided in Battle Creek, Norfolk, and Newman Grove, Nebraska; Glasgow, Montana, and Fredericksburg. They moved to Grand Island in 1990.
He was employed as a truck driver, forklift operator, farm laborer and janitor.
Streeter is survived by four daughters, one son and spouses, including Robyn Streeter and Terry Wilbur of Grand Island, Nebraska; Jackie and Alonso Castillo of Fredericksburg; Holly Barrientes of Johnson City; Roschel and Gayle Sellin of Plainview, Nebraska, and Robert L. and Andrea Streeter of Kearney, Nebraska.
Survivors also include 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by one brother, Terry Streeter of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, and three sisters: Linda Paulsen and Aurel Bernhardt, both of Norfolk, Nebraska, and Mary Weldon of Fremont, Nebraska.
In addition to his wife and parents, Streeter was preceded in death by one brother, Lee Streeter; one sister, Janice Logg; a son-in-law, Richard Barrientes, and an infant daughter.
Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
