Mrs. Gary G. Lochte
Mrs. Gary G. Lochte, 67, nee Jewel Ellis of Fredericksburg, died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017.
A memorial service was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church with the Rev. Jan Unger officiating.
Interment of the cremains is planned at a later date.
Arrangements were under the direction of Schaetter Funeral Home where visitation was held Monday evening.
Mrs. Lochte was born June 4, 1950, in Port Arthur, the daughter of James Henry Ellis and Ella Faye Wienecke Ellis. She married Gary Gene Lochte on Aug. 6, 1988, at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, and he survives.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Lochte is survived by three daughters, one son and spouses, including Janet and Jedd Goff of Fredericksburg, Karrie Schmidt and Bobby Caffey of Fredericksburg, Kristina and Jacob Schuh of Yancey, and Jason and M’Rhea Lochte of Boerne.
Survivors also include 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by four sisters, one brother and spouses, including James Henry and Jayne Ellis of Kerrville, Hazel and Bill Ruff of Fredericksburg, Alma Gray of Spring Branch, Etta Young of Oklahoma, and Charlotte Patricia Ellis of Warren.
Mrs. Lochte was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Jerry W. Parrish Jr.; four sisters, Gloria Friberg, Margaret Berry, Ruby Bass and Gayle Kissinger, and one brother, James Thomas Ellis.
