Veterans Day program set at Nimitz Museum
A Veterans Day program will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, in the Memorial Courtyard at the National Museum of the Pacific War.
Capt. Michael Tatsch (U.S. Navy, ret.), will be the keynote speaker for the program.
The Fredericksburg High School NJROTC will present the colors and the Ambleside Choir will perform during the program.
The Nimitz Living History Detachment, along with Bill Smallwood, will close the ceremony with a three-gun volley and Taps.
Also taking place over the weekend will be the WWII Pacific Combat Program on Saturday and Sunday.
Show times are at 2 p.m. on Saturday and at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Sunday.
