Lehne, Herber, Love win FISD seats

Brian Lehne, incumbent Kerinne Herber and Dr. Lance Love won the three open seats on the Fredericksburg Independent School District board of trustees.

The three out-polled challenger Dr. Ronald Stotz and write-in candidate Sam Aldrich, polling officials reported. Lance Fuege dropped out of the race, though his name still appeared on the ballot.

Totals were:

Lehne 604
Herber 540
Love 505
Stotz 279
Aldrich 226
Fuege 38

Two individuals also received single write-in votes.

Voting was held today from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Fredericksburg Middle School cafeteria.
