Harper Marches D.C.
The Harper Longhorn Band was selected to march in the National Memorial Day Parade in Washington, D.C. on Monday, May 28. Forty-seven band members, nine chaperones and two directors made the trek to Washington, D.C. by charter bus. While there, the students marched one mile in the parade, visited various national monuments and historical sites. The Harper Band Boosters and the community assisted in raising $52,000 for the trip.
