Galleries to celebrate First Friday Art Walk July 1
First Friday Art Walk Fredericksburg will be celebrated on Friday, July 1, with demonstrations, art talks, receptions, visits with artists and more.

Participating galleries will be flying the Art Walk flags.
The following galleries have submitted information concerning their First Friday Art Walk events:
Artisans — A Texas Gallery, 234 West Main, will host “All Creatures, Great and Small.”
Guest artists Jackie Ranney of San Antonio and Annette Bennett of Fredericksburg will join other artists at Artisans.
An artist reception will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Friday evening. Refreshments will be served.
Cate Zane, 107 North Llano, will feature a new collection of paintings by 19th and 20th century artists and Fredericksburg and Hill Country landscapes by local artist Deborah Mason.
Also, new artisan jewelry collections by Viki Ciesiul and Janet Martinez will be introduced.
Everyone is invited to join in for local wine and “red, white and blue” treats honoring the Fourth of July holiday from 5-8 p.m. on Friday.
A brief list of featured historic artists include Emilio Lanzi, Karl Bodmer, John Edward Borein, Laura Wilson Luce, Edward Kaminski and William Stephens.
Also represented are North American and European artisan jewelry designers.
Eleven Squared Venue, 237 West Main, will be participating in First Friday Art Walk on Friday.
The gallery will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, and an “Old Glory” reception will start at 5 p.m.
Eleven Squared Venue celebrates the art of the 11 artists they currently have on display, including consigned artwork by the recently deceased Texas artist, Arturo Mercado of Austin.
The gallery is also displaying a rare Grand Vase by Theodore Deck.
