The morning low of 55 degrees on July 25 broke the town’s record low of 63 degrees, set back on July 25, 1911, said National Weather Service meteorologist Jason Runyen.
“We broke the record at around 4:30 a.m., and we ended up shattering it,” Runyen said.
Cool weather lovers will have a chance to enjoy this weather until later Friday morning, as Runyen predicts temperatures to get back to normal.
