Applications for grants from the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church Endowment Fund are being accepted, it has been announced. Purpose of the Endowment Fund is to support the mission of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, which is to “Be and Make Disciples of Jesus Christ.” Applications may be picked up at the church office, 113 East San Antonio Street, or via the church website.

Local veterans group begins suicide prevention program

Together With Hill Country Veterans (TWHCV) announces the roll-out of a program to strengthen local support for area veterans. The purpose of the newly formed, 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization is to enlist rural veterans and their local partners to join forces to reduce veteran suicide in their community.
