Registration is underway for the Fredericksburg Theater Company’s Freddyburg Youth Theater Summer Camp.
This year, students will perform in the junior version of the Broadway musical “Seussical,” the musical retelling of several Dr. Seuss classic children stories.
Until June 3, the fee is $149. Late registration starting June 4 will be $174.
The last day to register is June 22.
Students from third grade to high school senior are accepted.
Scholarships are available and the class size is limited, so early registration is recommended.
For the fifth year in a row, the Freddyburg production will be part of FTC’s main stage season.
“We are excited to have Freddyburg Youth Theater as part of our 22nd season,” said Kerry Goff, FTC artistic director. “Audiences can expect to see the same high quality in this production that you see in all of FTC’s shows. We will spare no creative expense. The sets, costumes, lighting and sound will all be of the standard you are accustomed to seeing.”
More information and registration forms can be downloaded off of the theater’s website at fredericksburgtheater.org.
Interested students can also register by calling or going by the theater’s box office during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The box office is located next to the theater at 1668 U.S. 87 South.
