Providence Hall, a local private school, will host its fall fundraiser, Bike the ’Burg, a scenic bicycle rally on Saturday, Oct. 22.
This Hill Country riding experience will feature four route options to accommodate all skill levels.
There is a 5.5 Family Fun Ride at $15 per person, and 12.5-, 34- and 52-mile routes at $50 per person.
Participants can register online at www.bikereg.com/2106biketheburg through Oct. 19. Late registrations will be taken on the morning of the ride at $50 per person.
Packet pick-up will be Friday, from 4-7 p.m. at Hill Country Bicycle Works at 702 East Main Street.
The start time for all routes is 8 a.m. and will begin at Fredericksburg Dance Hall, formerly Pat’s Hall, at 406 Post Oak Rd.
Rest stops will be available for the 34- and 52-mile routes at three Gillespie County country schools.
All participants receive a T-shirt and tickets to attend the party after the ride at Fredericksburg Dance Hall.
Sponsors HEB, Opa’s Smoked Meats, Kelani Yogürt and Pedernales Brewing Company will be providing food and refreshments.
Entertainment will be provided by Josh Dodds.
