The Fredericksburg Artist School welcomes back Chicago painter William Schneider, Oct. 16-19.
Schneider will be teaching students how to paint in oil and pastels, expressive portraits and figures from a live model.
“The most successful paintings go beyond mere rendering; they create an emotional response in the viewer,” explains Schneider.
Schneider has achieved a degree from the American Academy of Art in Chicago and has studied under many master painters, a few of whom also teach for the Fredericksburg Artist School. Schneider has been published in many arts publications since 2001 and has written many instructional books and videos on different painting techniques and approaches.
He’s considered a Master of Signature status for the Oil Painters of America, Master Pastelist for the International Association of Pastel Societies and a Master Circle member of the American Impressionist Society.
