Richard Harris Perry

Richard Harris Perry, 85, of Fredericksburg, died Thursday, Dec. 24, 2015, at the Paige House.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, at Fredericksburg United Methodist Church.

The family will receive friends beforehand from 10-11 a.m. at the church.

Entombment of the cremains will follow in the church’s columbarium.

Memorials may be made to Hill Country Memorial Hospice, Fredericksburg United Methodist Church or to the charity of choice.

Arrangements are under the direction of Schaetter Funeral Home.

Rev. Nolan Sagebiel Sr., 88, of Fredericksburg, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2015.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, at Christ Lutheran Church at Cherry Spring, with interment following in the church cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Texas Lutheran University.

Agnes Clara Ritter


AGNES CLARA RITTER

Agnes Clara Ritter, 77, nee Weinheimer, of Austin and formerly of Fredericksburg, died Monday, Nov. 23, 2015.

Funeral series were held at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18, at Austin-Peel and Sons Funeral Home in Austin, with a funeral Mass following at 7 p.m. at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Austin.

Graveside services and interment were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum in Fredericksburg.

Mrs. Ritter was born Nov. 9, 1938, in Fredericksburg, the daughter of Hilmar L. Weinheimer and Alvina Kunz Weinheimer. She married Mark Ritter on Feb. 16, 1979. He preceded her in death.

A 1956 St. Mary’s High School graduate, Mrs. Ritter graduated from Seton School of Nursing in Austin.

She was a registered nurse in Hawaii for a number of years, and then worked at the V.A. Hospital in Kerrville before moving to Austin where she also worked in the nursing field.

Survivors include one son, David Ritter of Austin.
