Roque Robles, 65, of Fredericksburg, died Saturday, July 6, 2013, at Hill Country Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 9, at 3 p.m. in the chapel at Schaetter Funeral Home with interment following in Greenwood Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the charity of choice.

Hubert H. Klein, 88, of Stonewall, died Saturday, July 6, 2013.

The body will lie in state in the chapel of Schaetter Funeral Home until 8 a.m., Monday, July 8, and from 9-10 a.m., at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Stonewall where a funeral mass will begin at 10 a.m.

Graveside services with military honors and interment will follow in the Stonewall Community Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Stonewall Volunteer Fire Department, Hill Country Memorial Hospice, St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church or to the charity of choice.

Mrs. Lester Behrends, 74, nee Ida Mae Juenke of Fredericksburg, died Friday, July 5, 2013, at Windcrest Nursing and Rehab Center.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 8, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. in the chapel of Schaetter Funeral Home.

Celia Cabezas Alt of Fredericksburg, Texas died Tuesday, June 11, 2013.

Her life was celebrated on Saturday, June 15 at Victory Fellowship with Rev. Michael Burdick officiating. Graveside services and interment were held Tuesday, June 18 at the DFW National Cemetery.

Celia Cabezas Alt was born June 8, 1927 in San Jose, Costa Rica, the daughter of Ulises and Juanita Lopez de Cabezas.

She married Lt. Col. Eugene R. Alt on July 11, 1959 in New York. They were married for 41 years. He preceded her to heaven on Jan. 13, 2001.

SHARON LOUISE CAMPBELL

Sharon Louise Campbell, 56, nee Walls, of Fredericksburg, died Thursday, June 27, 2013.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Schaetter Funeral Home.

Ms. Campbell was born Dec. 25, 1956, in San Antonio, the daughter of Walter Leo Walls Sr. and Betty Louise Moss Walls.

She is survived by her mother, Betty Moss Semmler of Fredericksburg; one daughter, two sons and spouses, including Christina Sonstegard of Comfort; Robert Campbell and Jennie Candelario of Bedford, and Curtis Sonstegard of Brownwood, and eight grandchildren.

Survivors also include two brothers and sisters-in-law, Walter and Gay Lynn Walls Jr. of Fredericksburg and John Curtis and Carol Walls of San Antonio.

She is also survived by two step-brothers and spouses, Jim and Trudy Semmler of Baird, and Steve and Thelma Semmler of Del Rio.

Ms. Campbell was preceded in death by her father.

Mrs. Norman L. (Chris) Christian Sr., 73, nee Fayejean (Jeannie) Cronenberg of Fredericksburg, died Saturday, June 29, 2013.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 2, at 10 a.m. at Resurrection Lutheran Church with interment following in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Hill Country Memorial Hospice, Resurrection Lutheran Church or to the charity of choice.

Arrangements are under the direction of Schaetter Funeral Home.

Elnor Dane Dull


ELNOR DULL

Elnor Dane Dull, 89, nee White, of Fredericksburg, died Wednesday, June 26, 2013.

Funeral services were held Monday, July 1, at 10 a.m. at Cokesbury United Methodist Church in Houston with Dr. Darrell Coats officiating. Visitation was held beforehand.

Graveside services and interment followed Monday afternoon at the Dew Community Cemetery in Teague with the Rev. Carl Clark officiating.

Arrangements were under the direction of Fredericksburg Funeral Home.

Ms. Dull was born April 6, 1924, in Dew, the daughter of Adolphous H. White Jr. and Coy Dee Hughes White.

She was a school teacher for 40 years, 38 of which were in the Houston Independent School District.

Ms. Dull is survived by one daughter, two sons and spouses, including Debby and Ken Messinger of Fredericksburg; David Dull and Sylvie Trepanies of Toronto, Canada, and John and Linda Dull of Pasadena.

David Charles Meurer, 24, of Fredericksburg, died Tuesday, June 25, 2013, as the result of injuries received in a motor vehicle accident.

A memorial service will be held Monday, July 8, at 6:30 p.m. at the KD Ranch.

Joe Thaddeus Robertson

March 13, 1921 - June 17, 2013

Joe Thaddeus Robertson, 92, of Austin, Texas, passed away at home, June 17, 2013, surrounded by his loving family.

Joe was born on March 13, 1921 in Santa Anna, Texas to Juanita Hunter and Joseph William Robertson. He spent his earliest years in Waco, and moved to Austin after elementary school. He graduated from Austin High School in 1938. As a youth he was active in the Order of DeMolay, achieving rank of Chevalier for his outstanding service.

He attended college at the University of Texas, obtaining a bachelor of business administration degree after returning from military service. He subsequently entered the University of Texas Law School, where he graduated with a JD degree. Joe was active in the practice of law and was a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Travis County Bar Association.
