Bernadine Charlene Linnstaedter Cooper

Bernadine Charlene Linnstaedter Cooper, 86, of Fredericksburg, died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, March 11, at First Baptist Church.

Memorials may be made to The Good Samaritan Center, Hill Country Youth Ranch, the Golden Hub or the charity of choice.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fredericksburg Funeral Home.

Mrs. Elton Faught

MRS. ELTON FAUGHT

Mrs. Elton Faught, 86, nee Beatrice Joy (BeBee) Kordzik, of San Saba, died Wednesday, March 2, 2016.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 5, at Heritage Funeral Home in San Saba with David Montgomery and Steve Emmons officiating.

Interment followed in the San Saba Cemetery.

Visitation was held Friday evening at the funeral chapel.

Mrs. Faught was born July 7, 1929, in Fredericksburg, the daughter of Edgar Kordzik and Margaret Zoeller Kordzik. She married Elton Faught on Aug. 20, 1950, in Fredericksburg, and he survives.

A 1947 graduate of Fredericksburg High School, she attended and graduated in 1950 from Brackenridge School of Nursing in Austin with a degree in nursing.

She began her nursing career at San Saba Memorial Hospital, working as a registered nurse. In later years, she taught the licensed vocational nursing school at the hospital.

Mary Reed Ferguson, 58, of Fredericksburg, died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 12, in the chapel of Fredericksburg Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Chris LeDoux Memorial Park in Kaycee, Woming, or the charity of choice.

Mrs. Warren Hahn

Mrs. Warren Hahn, 78, nee Martha Kate (Katie) Smith, of Doss, died Thursday, March 3, 2016.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 7, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Doss, with interment following in the church cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Hill Country Memorial Hospice, St. Peter Lutheran Church Altar Guild, the American Cancer Society or to the charity of choice.

Anthony (Tony) Jung

Anthony (Tony) Jung, 73, of Fredericksburg, died Thursday, March 3, 2016, at Peterson Regional Medical Center in Kerrville.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, March 7, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Kris Bytomski officiating.

Interment followed in Greenwood Cemetery.

Arrangements were under the direction of Schaetter Funeral Home where visitation was held Sunday evening and Monday morning.

Jung was born Jan. 18, 1943, in Fredericksburg, the son of Benno Henry Jung and Gertrude Kunz Jung. He married Sandra Gebo on May 15, 1985. She preceded him in death on April 25, 2012.

He was a St. Mary’s High School graduate.

Jung is survived by one son, Michael Jung of Austin; a daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Tyrone Pruitt of Boerne; a step-son and spouse, Jimmy and Betty Ray of Midland, and three step-daughters, Missy Ray and Angela Ray, both of Fredericksburg, and Charlotte Ray of Georgia.

Mrs. Harvey Kramer

Mrs. Harvey Kramer, 92, nee Theresa Marie Grona of Fredericksburg, died Monday, March 7, 2016, at Windcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Arrangements are under the direction of Schaetter Funeral Home where visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, March 10, and 7-9:45 a.m. Friday, March 11.

A vigil service, followed by a St. Ann’s Society rosary, will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 10, at Schaetter Funeral Home.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, March 11, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with interment following in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Ann’s Society, St. Mary’s School Endowment Fund or to the charity of choice.

Mrs. Edgar (Ed) Taylor

LYNETTE GELLERMANN TAYLOR

Mrs. Edgar (Ed) Taylor, 71, nee Lynette Frances Gellermann of Mesquite and formerly of Fredericksburg, died Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016, in a Garland hospital.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 3, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Kris Bytomski officiating. Mary Ann Murchison was the pianist, and Donna Durst, the vocalist.

Interment followed at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

Arrangements were under the direction of Schaetter Funeral Home where visitation and a vigil service were held Wednesday evening, March 2.

Mrs. Taylor was born March 12, 1944, in Fredericksburg, the daughter of Alvin Gellermann and Annie Hartmann Gellermann. She married Edgar (Ed) Taylor on Nov. 20, 1965, and he survives.

Dorothy Baker Washburn

DOROTHY BAKER WASHBURN

Dorothy Baker Washburn, 82, nee Schulte, of Ingram, died Friday, March 4, 2016.

Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Monday, March 7, at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Kerrville with the Rev. Thomas Jeffers officiating.

Interment followed at Hunt Japonica Cemetery.

Visitation was held Sunday evening at the funeral chapel.

Mrs. Washburn was born June 18, 1933, in Granbury, the daughter of Walter Schulte and Jeanette Peden Schulte. She married Mack Washburn who preceded her in death.

She is survived by four daughters and spouses, including Carol Segner of Fredericksburg; Ruth Winset of Ingram; Susie Lehne and her husband, Kevin of Hunt, and Charlotte Jeffers and her husband, Jerry of Kerrville.

Survivors also include 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She is also survived by four step-sons, one step-daughter and 11 step-grandchildren.
