Fredericksburg Little League tagged out of sectionals

Fredericksburg Little League sent four teams to sectional tournaments last week, but all four teams suffered losses and were eliminated from tournament play.
Junior baseball All-Stars started their sectional tournament on Tuesday night against 5 Diamonds Little League in San Antonio.
The All-Stars were slow out of the gate and lost 13-3.
On Thursday evening, in the second game of the tournament, Fredericksburg faced Crystal City, and in the sixth inning, the All-Stars’ bats woke up.
Fredericksburg scored some late runs and won the game 5-3.
The All-Stars played again on Friday night against Northwest Little League. Fredericksburg fell 3-2, and was eliminated from the tournament.
The junior softball team lost its first game of the sectional tournament to Eagle Pass, 15-11, on Wednesday, July 9.
The following day, the All-Stars played an elimination against Pleasanton, and lost 11-2.
After their second loss, the Fredericksburg All-Stars were eliminated from tournament play.
The major softball All-Stars traveled to Eagle Pass for their sectional tournament, and in the first game of the tournament, the girls came up short against Eagle Pass Little League in a 17-0 loss on Wednesday night.
Because of the double elimination format of the tournament, the girls were not eliminated from competition.
On Friday night, Fredericksburg faced Devine and won 4-3.
