Mrs. Arthur W. Rowe
Mrs. Arthur W. Rowe, 92, nee Ruby Maxine Lomenick of Fredericksburg, died Saturday, June 21, 2014, at Windcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 25, at 10 a.m. at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church with the Rev. David Priem officiating. Visitation was held beforehand.
Interment followed at Greenwood Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of Schaetter Funeral Home.
Mrs. Rowe was born Jan. 4, 1922, in Joplin, Missouri, the daughter of Samuel Lomenick and Lydia Snyder Lomenick. Her first husband, Charles Leo Harris, died in 1974. She married Arthur William Rowe on April 19, 1975, in Angleton, and he died in 1978.
She is survived by one son, Charlie Harris of Stonewall; two daughters, Vicki Campbell and her husband, Jeff, of Alabama, and Donna Bodden of Oregon.
Survivors also include two step-daughters, Terri Cavanaugh and Marcia Maderious, and one step-son, Bill Rowe, all of Minnesota.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husbands and parents, Mrs. Rowe was preceded in death by one grandson, Kit Griffin; one sister, Dorothy Hanson, and one brother, James (Jack) Lomenick.
Memorials may be made to Holy Ghost Lutheran Church or to the charity of choice.
Pallbearers included Nick Hopkins, Carlton Eckert, Alton Klier, Chris Bauer, Melvin Bonn, Wes Bodden, Jason Bodden, John Moore and Terry Bonn.
