The Fredericksburg Little League All-Stars continued their tournament season as intermediate baseball, coach-pitch softball and machine-pitch baseball all had games this week.
Fredericksburg’s intermediate baseball All-Stars had a hot start to its tournament season, earning a 20-0 victory over Mason, Monday evening in Oak Crest Park.
Gary Sorola led the team’s offense with two home runs, six RBIs and five hits at five at-bats. Tucker Elliot hit a two-run home run in the fifth inning. Adding to offense, Aiden McCullough earned three hits with three at-bats.
The game was called at the end of the fifth inning because of a 10-run mercy rule.
The Fredericksburg boys continued tournament action on Tuesday night against Burnet/Bertram. Full details of that game will be published in next week’s issue of the Fredericksburg Standard-Radio Post.
The coach-pitch softball All-Stars continued their perfect season with three wins as they earned the title tournament champion in Fredericksburg this weekend.
