White earns bronze at state track meet

Six members of the Harper High School girls’ track team participated in the UIL 1A State Track and Field Meet held Friday on the campus of the University of Texas at Austin.

One runner — Logan White — managed to get to the finals podium with a third place finish in the 100 meter hurdles in a bronze medal-winning time of 15.31.

As a team, the Ladyhorns finished the meet in ninth place in the Division I standings.

The relay team of Sydney Collins, Taylor Reid, Payton Reid, and Megan Myers took fourth place in the 4x200 meter event in a time of 1:47.17, setting a school record in the process.
