Girls' soccer ties Tivy 0-0

The good news about Fredericksburg High School’s Feb. 28 varsity girls soccer game against Kerrville Tivy is that neither the varsity nor junior varsity squads allowed any goals.

The varsity also didn’t score any, as their game ended in a 0-0 tie. JV scored one goal for a 1-0 shutout over the Lady Antlers.

The tie means that FHS will now have to defeat Boerne Champion or Alamo Heights to have a chance at the playoffs.

FHS girls soccer’s next games will be today, March 5, at Boerne Champion (a rescheduled game due to weather) with the JV team playing at 5 p.m. and the varsity playing at 7 p.m. Then, on Friday, March 7, FHS is at home against Alamo Heights (JV at 5 p.m., and varsity at 7 p.m.).
