Heritage boys defeat New Life

By Danny Hirt

After picking up a 56-43 victory at New Life in San Antonio on Saturday, the Heritage School boys’ basketball team had its momentum temporarily slowed down Tuesday, thanks to the most recent blast of wintry weather. That’s when the home game slated with Seguin Lifegate was postponed due to icy roads.

The make-up date has been set for Monday, Feb. 10, at the Kroc Center in Kerrville. The contest will tip off at 7:30 p.m.

Up next for the Eagles will be a three-game swing during the next week, starting off Thursday when they host San Marcos Hill Country at the Kroc Center in Kerrville at 8 p.m.

From there, they return to the Fredericksburg First Baptist Church gymnasium to take on San Antonio Castle Hills on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.

Heritage will hit the road on Tuesday, Feb. 4, when it goes to San Antonio Rainbow Hills for a 7:30 contest.
