Girls' soccer edges Wimberley 1-0
The Fredericksburg High School varsity girls’ soccer team scored a narrow victory as they shut out Wimberley 1-0 at home on Tuesday, Jan. 28.
The game was originally scheduled to be Parents’ Night, but that activity was postponed due to the cold weather. Details will be provided at a later date.
Fredericksburg next will travel on the road to play Lampasas on Friday, Jan. 31 at 6 p.m.
The Wimberley game’s lone goal came when Fredericksburg’s Daisy Flores scored off of a corner kick from Taylor Husfeld.
