Sonora stops Ladyhorns in AT&T Center Contest

After Saturday’s 53-26 loss to Sonora in the spotlight of San Antonio’s AT&T Center, the Harper High School girls’ varsity basketball team will take off for Christmas.

However, the Ladyhorns will hit the hardwoods twice before New Year’s Day, first entertaining Bandera on Saturday, Dec. 28, at 2:15 p.m. (junior varsity teams play at 1 p.m.), followed by a contest at Comfort on Tuesday, Dec. 31. Time for this game has not yet been set.


Sonora 53, Harper 26

The Ladyhorns never got out of the starting blocks as they dropped a 53-26 decision to Sonora in a game played Saturday afternoon in the AT&T Center in San Antonio.

Leading scorer for Harper was Taylor Reid with eight points.
