By Danny Hirt —

The Harper High School (HHS) girls’ varsity basketball team extended its early-season winning streak to three games by picking up two more victories during the previous week.

After topping Ozona, 31-16, on the road Saturday, Nov. 16, the Ladyhorns earned another win last night, Nov. 19, at Llano, 52-28.

The 2013-14 campaign continues this Friday, Nov. 22, when Harper entertains John Paul II in a 6:15 p.m. game in the HHS Gym. Preceding that bout will be a junior varsity game between the two schools at 5 p.m.

Harper’s schedule will then see it hitting the highway again for a game Tuesday, Nov. 26, at San Saba. Starting times for the JV and varsity contests will be 5 p.m. and 6:15 p.m., respectively.
