Memorial Presbyterian to host annual Alternative Gift Market on Saturday, Nov. 9
From olivewood carvings to soup mixes and more will be offered to the public during the Alternative Gift Market on Saturday, Nov. 9, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Memorial Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall, 601 North Milam Street.
All proceeds from the market will go to support the participating organizations, which are known for promoting human dignity, social justice and making a difference in individuals’ lives.
All undesignated funds go toward Presbyterian Disaster Assistance.
“Many of the vendors from previous years will return,”
said a market spokesman, “and new ones bring a fresh look to the variety of gifts that please the most discerning shoppers. There’s something for everyone.”
