Hoping to “Send the Center Point Pirates to Davy Jones’ Locker,” Harper High School will observe homecoming activities all week, culminating with Friday’s 7:30 p.m. football game with Center Point, crowning of a Homecoming King and Queen at halftime, and an “Under the Sea” dance for HHS students from 8-11 p.m., Saturday evening.
Tonight (Oct. 30), the school will hold a tailgate party at 6 p.m. with a car smash to follow at 7:15 p.m. in the student parking lot. At 8 p.m., a pep rally and the introduction of the homecoming court on the football field will be held.
Following the pep rally, the Harper Community Park board and the athletic booster club will be staging a bonfire in the park.
