Harper football falls to Brackett

It was another disappointing effort for Harper High School as the Longhorns suffered a 53-0 setback Friday evening at home.
The loss was the second District 14 1-A Division I for Harper in as many weeks.
The ’Horns (0-2, 3-4) will travel to Ozona this Friday, Oct. 25, before returning home on Nov. 1 to face Center Point in the annual Homecoming contest.
Harper will then finish the regular season campaign on the road at Junction on Nov. 8. All three games will kick-off at 7:30 p.m.
Loss to Brackett
With a first quarter touchdown already on the scoreboard, the visiting Brackett Tigers added four more scores in the second period to grab a 34-0 lead at intermission on their way to a 53-0 victory over Harper on Friday, Oct. 18.
With the loss, the Longhorns fall to a 3-4 overall record and 0-2 in league action.
Meanwhile, Brackett (6-0, 2-0) remains atop the district standings, tied with Mason.
