Get your pour on at food, wine fest
A chance to celebrate the best of Texas wines, food and entertainment will be offered at the 23rd annual Fredericksburg Food and Wine Fest on Saturday, Oct. 26, on Marktplatz.
The Fredericksburg Food and Wine Fest opens at noon and continues until 7 p.m.
General admission is $20 for adults, $5 for those under 21 and free for children under 12.
The $20 admission includes one souvenir fest glass, six sampling tickets (which can be used for three two ounce sample pours or one glass of wine), Texas specialty booths, Texas wineries, a silent auction, entertainment, food court and the Great Gargantuan Grape Toss.
An array of food will be available for purchase in the food village.
Additional sampling tickets will also be available for purchase.
Sponsors of the Fredericksburg Food and Wine Fest include the City of Fredericksburg, Security State Bank and Trust, Opa’s Smoked Meats, Fischer and Wieser, Atmos and HEB.
The annual poster series features artwork by local artist Shelley Britton, who will be on hand for poster signings. Original work, as well as a signed and framed poster, will be featured in the silent auction.
