Harper volleyball still unbeaten in district

Harper High School’s 10th ranked varsity volleyball team maintained its strangle hold on its first place position in the District 14-1A standings by picking up two more wins during the past week.

On Friday, Sept. 27, the Ladyhorns topped Center Point on the road in three games (25-20, 25-13, 25-10), then, bested host Leakey last night — Tuesday, Oct. 1 — by a score of 25-9, 25-19 and 25-22.

League action continues Friday when Harper goes to Utopia for a 5 p.m. match. The schools’ junior varsity squads will square off at 4 p.m. From there, the HHS varsity will entertain Junction at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8. The Harper “White” JV team will play at 5 p.m., while the “Green” team hits the court at 6 p.m.
