Harper cross country competes in Fredericksburg

It was a sixth place finish for the Harper High School girls’ varsity cross country team in last Saturday’s Fredericksburg Cross Country Invitational held at Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park in Fredericksburg.

Meanwhile, the Longhorn varsity boys finished in 10th place.

Next up for the school’s varsity teams will be the McNeil Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 5, at Round Rock High School.

“The kids did a good job competing in a big meet,” said Harper head coach Will Reid of his various teams’ efforts at last Saturday’s competition in Fredericksburg.
