By Danny Hirt —

Heritage School was victorious in its last two volleyball matches, topping San Antonio Gateway in three games (25-20, 25-23, 25-18) on Thursday, Sept. 12, then besting non-district Our Lady of the Hills in Kerrville Tuesday evening (Sept. 17) by a score of 25-16, 25-7 and 25-17.

The Lady Eagles will now host a pair of matches at Fredericksburg’s First Baptist Church — against Cornerstone on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 2 p.m., then San Antonio Town East on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at 6 p.m.

Win over OLH

The Lady Eagles ran their season record to 9-3 (4-2 in district) by taking all three games in Tuesday evening’s match at Our Lady of the Hills in Kerrville.

“For the second match in a row, the Lady Eagles stepped up their game with fewer errors to beat OLH,” said Heritage head coach Carol Bell.
