Free document shredding slated for Saturday

There will be an opportunity on Saturday, June 22 for individuals to have unwanted paper documents securely shredded.

Condor Document Services with partners Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce and Fredericksburg Printing and Office Supply will host a free community shred day, said Melissa Hughes, Chamber spokesperson.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon (or until the truck is full) at St. Joseph’s Halle parking lot, 212 W. San Antonio St.

At this time, Fredericksburg Printing and Office Supply will be accepting donations of used ink and toner cartridges to benefit St. Mary’s Catholic School.

“A limit of three file boxes of paper will be accepted per vehicle and a donation of two non-perishable food items is asked for each box to be shredded,” Hughes said. “All food donations will benefit the Fredericksburg Food Pantry.”
