Local players won six of 10 age divisions in the Fredericksburg Tennis Association’s “Summer Swing” tournament held here last Saturday and Sunday, June 15-16.

Held on courts at the Fredericksburg High School campus and inside Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park, the tourney drew boys and girls up to 18 years old in both singles and doubles categories.

“Still, we got a good little tournament in,” he said.
