Harper softball bounced from region playoffs

The history-setting softball team from Harper High School lost its traction and was knocked out of the Region IV 1A playoffs, falling 12-4 to Falls City in a one-game series played Friday at Judson High School.

Falls City will now face District 29 champion Junction in the next round of competition. The league’s other participant in the playoffs, Center Point, lost to Port Aransas 16-7 over the weekend.
